PEER ADVOCATE: A Peer Advocate will be a supportive individual who helps others going through their healing process. They must be at least 16
years or older, live in the United States, and also have Skype for video conferencing.
Peer Advocate’s will be required to work a minimum of 6 hours per week. Each week, they will write a blog entry regarding some topic of healing. They will be required to work with their clients at least once a week. They will participate in the magazine’s articles as necessary.
Would prefer individual to have past experience in peer relations, have a good grasp on the basic terms in the healing process, and feel comfortable enough to share your story with others.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: A Public Representative will be someone who spreads the words of RNJ while seeking affiliation with others. They will have a
strong sense of communications and understanding of network. They must be at least 16 years or older, live in the United States, and also have Skype for video conferencing.
Public Representatives will be required to work a minimum of 6 hours per week. Each week, they will write a blog entry regarding another organization, affiliate, or external resource they find to be helpful. They will be required to contact potential affiliates. They will participate in the magazine’s articles as necessary.
Would prefer individual to have past experience in communications, working with others, and have great organizational skills.
ADVOCATE CONNECT CALL RESPONDENT: An Advocate Connect Call Respondent (ACCR) will be someone who can work in high stress situations to help those struggling in crisis situations (or situations where their Peer Advocate is not available). They must be at least 16 years or older, live in the United States, texting and/or phone privileges, and also have Skype for video conferencing.
ACCR’s will be required to be scheduled a minimum of 10 on call hours per week (scheduled hours, but not necessarily working hours). They will be required to respond to calls or text messages through the Advocate Connect line in a timely fashion and report all conversations to their department head.
Education Outreach Program - Rape is Never Justified, Inc.
Description: A group of team members who focus on three key components: raising awareness, focusing on statistics, educating on healing methods. Each EOP team member will bring a specific focus to their area of interest (awareness, statistics, healing).
Expected Duties: Create a specific focus or aspect to research and provide information on weekly. Report back on the information in a way that is accessible and easy to read and understand for all individuals. Write one or more articles for the RNJ magazine.
Who: Anyone who is 16 years or older and has access to a computer on a regular basis as well as Skype for conference calls.
When: The EOP will be a year-round project and we will hire new team members as needed or between December 15 and January 15 and from June 1 through August 10 of every year.
Goals of the Education Outreach Program:
1. Provide information for those who aren’t yet involved in the advocacy community for victims of sexual violence to be a voice for others while providing accurate information to help educate others.
2. Provide statistical information that helps all individuals in the community understand they are not alone or helps in the educating of those who’ve not yet been involved in the activism of the community.
3. Provide information for those going through the healing process regarding various responses to a sexual assault that would help to further their healing process.
4. Create a magazine that reaches out to better and more specifically focus on various issues, concerns, or battles individuals face while highlighting a means of activism, support, and education for supporters and survivors alike.

International Program – Rape is Never Justified, Inc.
Description: A group of team members who focus on the following: Raising awareness on an international level, educating followers on international topics and laws and giving support to victims and survivors on an international level. With regard to Peer Advocates, we will be hiring first in the United Kingdom and Australia. As our international presence grows, we will hire peer advocates as we deem necessary.
Expected Duties: Create a specific focus or aspect to research and provide information on a weekly basis. Everything will need to be written in English unless a demand is made for a translation. You will operate an International RNJ Facebook Page where you post international research you have done. You will be required to cite all sources in an effort to avoid copyright infringement.
Who: Anyone who is 18 years or older and has access to a computer on a regular basis as well as Skype for conference calls. Additionally, you must have some sort of application on your phone that allows you to contact me directly (i.e.: WhatApp, HeyWire, etc.).
When: The International Program will be a year-round project and we will hire new team members as needed or between December 15 and January 15 and from June 1 through August 10 of every year.
Goals of the International Program.
1. Provide information weekly or bi-monthly to the RNJ community on an international level regarding relevant current affairs and news.
2. Educate the entire RNJ community on international laws regarding sexual assault and rape.
3. Obtain Peer Advocates on an international level to help victims and survivors in countries other than the United States obtain methods to heal and a friendship based support system.
4. Update weekly on international current events that are taking place. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis. Because this is an international program, there is a lot of news to report on and there are a lot of particular countries to focus on.
